Systembase C510ip Audio Codecs have been supplied to BT for installation in their new 4K Ultra HD Outside Broadcast Truck. The new truck which is the first of it's kind in Europe, was built by MegaHertz Broadcast Systems (MHz) and was displayed at the recent IBC 2014 Exhibition in Amsterdam.

The eight C510ip Codec units will be used to provide real-time audio communications and talk-back circuits for live sports coverage for a number of broadcasters including BT Sport, Sky Sports and ITV Sport.

Systembase originally started supplying audio codecs to BT Broadcast in 1994, and the successful relationship has continued for over 20 years.
