MPS-1 is a 48-volt phantom power supply capable of powering most condenser microphones. It provides clean, reliable phantom power for a condenser microphone in a rugged, compact, and portable unit. Innovative low power circuitry generates the higher voltage necessary for powering microphones while maximizing battery life.

The MPS-1 is an invaluable and reliable tool in application areas including home or professional recording studios, live sound, PA, permanent installations, DJ, AV, podcasting and broadcasting. Use it with mixers, audio processors, digital audio workstations or anywhere you need phantom power for your microphones.

The MPS-1 can be powered by two AA size batteries or by external 12~15V DC. Long battery life and a bright LED low battery indicator is on the front panel to ensure that the microphone is properly powered during your recording session.

The battery compartment is sealed with a double locks as an extra safeguard measure using the MPS-1 in the field. When opening the battery compartment door it is necessary to slide and push the release latches together.
